A seed is not magic
The seed sets the initial noise the model “develops” the image from. Same prompt, seed, settings and model give the same result (on the same hardware and library versions). Different seeds give different takes on the same idea.
The prompt is the same everywhere: a ceramic teapot with blue glaze on a wooden table, morning light. What you can see:
- Subject and style are stable. A blue glazed teapot and weathered wood every time — that's the prompt.
- Composition and props come from the seed. Seed 2 grew a lemon slice out of nowhere, seeds 3 and 4 added cups and a stand. I didn't ask for them.
- Camera angle and framing jump around too: from almost straight-on to a view from above.
How I use it
First I generate 8–16 variants on different seeds with few steps, pick a composition, and only then refine the prompt and settings on that seed. I always write the seed down — without it you can't reproduce an image you liked.
